Competitive analysis
In our quest to enhance "New Home Search," we conducted a thorough analysis of key competitors in the UK real estate market, including Rightmove, OnTheMarket, and Zoopla. Here are our findings:
1. Rightmove :
What They Offer: Rightmove provides a vast listing of properties across the UK, offering a wide range of search filters and property details.
What We Can Improve: We can learn from Rightmove's comprehensive listings and diverse filters. However, we can improve by offering more in-depth local demographics and market information to aid informed decision-making.
2. OnTheMarket :
What They Offer: OnTheMarket focuses on providing property listings with a clean and user-friendly interface, emphasizing exclusive property listings.
What We Can Improve: We can draw inspiration from their user-friendly design and exclusive listings presentation. To stand out, we can enhance our platform by offering more educational resources and personalized recommendations.
3. Zoopla :
What They Offer: Zoopla offers a broad selection of property listings, alongside detailed property information, local area insights, and a property valuation tool.
What We Can Improve: We can gain inspiration from Zoopla's robust local area insights and property valuation tool. To address a market gap, we can focus on delivering more user-friendly, educational content to guide property seekers effectively.

Ideation
After lots of research now was the time to convert those insights into ideas. For ideation I first needed to collect all of the information and categorize it and create theme of the information collected.
To do that I followed card sorting method where I used Figjam and written down all of the ideas and information to form themes.

Information Architecture
Ideated upon the structure of the website by defining the IA which helps in defining the navigating of pages across the website and what pages or features needs to be included before moving to the design phase.
